How to Unlock Ancient Archives Door in Fisch (2025)

Fisch has a plethora of Islands or areas to explore. Despite having dozens of islands, the devs keep adding new Islands with every new update.

With the latest update, they added a new area called Ancient Archives.

Unlike other areas or islands, you just can’t go to Ancient Archives in Fisch. To get there, you need to unlock a door, and to get it unlocked, you need to meet certain requirements.

Fisch Ancient Archives Guide

To open the Ancient Archives door in Fisch, players need to go to the newly added Island Ancient Isle. After getting there, you need to find and get the following Fragments:

• Earth Fragment
• Solar Fragment
• Deep Sea Fragment
• Ancient Fragment

Besides obtaining Fragments, make sure you have a Glider, Eclipse Totem, and Sundial Totem. To learn how and where to get every Totem in Fisch, click on the link.

Once you have got these items in your inventory, invite four players or friends to your server. Since the Ancient Archives door can’t be opened without having four players on your server, invite and request four or more players.

Once they join you on the server, give them one Fragment if they don’t have one. If they already have one Fragment each, take a Zipline and find the biggest Waterfall.

After getting there, you need to use the Glider to get to the middle portion of the Waterfall leading you to the Ancient Archives area.

After getting there, ask all of your friends to stand on the button located in front of the Pillar. Since each Fragment is divided by colors, make sure to match your Fragment with the Pillar.

Now, you need to press E to rotate until the Pillar faces you. Once you and your friends manage to do this, the Ancient Archives door will get unlocked.

Notably, the rotation process can only be done during the daytime. If you try to rotate the Pillar during the nighttime, you will get a message that says, ‘Hmmm… Why won’t this rotate?’

So, make sure to press E during the daytime only. If you continue to get the same message during the daytime, use the Eclipse Totem and press E to rotate the Pillar.
