With the latest update, the devs added a bunch of items that can’t be obtained by fishing or purchasing them from the Merchant.
Among those items are Magic Thread and Ancient Thread.

Ever since the new update was out, players have been searching for ways to obtain Magic Thread and Ancient Thread in Fisch.
With that in mind, we wrote a guide explaining how to obtain these two crafting materials.

Fisch Magic Thread & Ancient Thread Guide
To get Magic and Ancient Thread in Fisch, players need to obtain the Treasure Map first. To get the Treasure Map, you need to keep fishing.
Notably, it has a 1/60 chance via fishing. To increase its chance further, use a powerful rod or bait. Once you have got a Treasure Map, go and talk to the NPC named Jack Marrow.
After that, give him 250$ to fix the Treasure Map. Once the map is fixed, you will get a coordinates XYZ. Now, use your GPS and track the same coordinates.
When you do so, you will find a Treasure Chest. When you open the chest, you are most likely to get Magic and Ancient Threat.
Notably, this is the only method that can be used to obtain Magic and Ancient Thread in Roblox Fisch.
