How to Get All Crafting Materials In Fisch (2025)

With the latest update 1.08.0, the devs added a new mechanic called CRAFTING.

Using this feature, players can craft numerous fishing rods. Earlier, this feature was not available in the game.

Unfortunately, crafting can’t be done anywhere in the game. To craft a rod in Fisch, players need to unlock the Ancient Archives.

To unlock it, you need to go to the Ancient Isle and collect all four fragments – Solar, Earth, Ancient, and Deep Sea. After collecting fragments, you need four players having each fragment.

Now, go to the Ancient Archives area stand on the button, and press E to rotate the Pillar. Make sure to do this in a day because if you do this in the night, you will get a message, “Hmmm… Why Won’t This Rotate?“.

To get rid of this error message, click on the link. Once you have successfully unlocked Ancient Archives, go inside to access the Crafting option.

When you get there, you will be asked to bring some crafting materials to craft a specific rod in Fisch. Notably, each Fishing rod has certain requirements.

Fisch Crafting Materials Guide 

To obtain crafting materials in Fisch, you need to follow the steps written below: 

Gems 

The first crafting material you need to craft fishing rods in Fisch is Gems. 

There are different types of rods that you can craft and many of them require different types of gems such as Ruby, Opal, etc. 

In Fisch, you will get these gems from the Meteors. These Meteors spawn randomly in the game. 

The fastest way to get Meteor in Fisch is by using the Meteor Totem.  To get Meteor Totem, you need to go to the Roslit Bay.

After getting there, climb up and go to the Roslit Volcano location. 

When you get there, you will find the Meteor Totem that you can buy for 75000C$. 

Once you purchase the Meteor Totem, use it to get Meteor. From these Meteor, you will get Gems. 

Driftwood

The second item that you need to craft fishing rods in is Driftwood. 

Unlike Gems, you can’t get the Driftwood easily. To get this item, you need to purchase the Crabcages and place them anywhere in the game. 

You can also get Driftwood by fishing anywhere in the game.

Notably, you need different types of Driftwood to craft different fishing rods from the crafting area. 

Once you get a normal Driftwood, go to Moosewood Island and Appraise it from the Appraiser. 

From the Appraiser, you need to spend 450C$ for one appraisal and to obtain the required type of Driftwood, you need to Appraise the normal Driftwood several times. 

This means you need to spend lots of in-game currency. 

Magic Threads

The third and last item that you need to craft a fishing rod is Magic Threads. 

In Roblox Fisch, you will get the Magic Threads from the Treasure Chests. 

To get these chests, you need to obtain Treasure Maps first. You can get these treasure maps by fishing in random locations in the game. 

Once you get a Treasure Map, go and talk to the Jack Marrow NPC and fix the Treasure Map. When you do so, you will get a coordinate.

Now, use GPS to track the same coordinates to find the Treasure Chests. Once found, open the chest to get Magic Thread. Besides the Magic Thread, you might get a bunch of other items like Ancient Thread, Sunken Rod, and others.

Once you get the required crafting materials, go back to the crafting area and craft the fishing rod you want.
